Stan Kroenke's new Forbes ranking and charity score should concern Arsenal fans amid NFL battle

Stan Kroenke has been ranked in seventieth place amongst the illustrious forbes list of the richest American’s in the world.

If there were no history between the American and Arsenal football club you would think his ownership would bring great success and the side would thrive from the riches similar to Manchester City.

However, this clearly has not been the case as since his ownership the club have hit their lowest point which is not just down to the performances on the pitch.

And the Forbes list have exposed another reason for the Arsenal fans to rightfully feel angry by Kroenke as the list has revealed that the 74-year-old’s philanthropy percentage is at a staggering 0%.

We are not really surprised by the statistic when it falls under Kroenke’s name as you just have to look back to April 2021 to see that he doesn’t care about the greater good for the social lives as he agreed to take the football club out of the English pyramid, and into a money-making machine which was the European Super League.

Just when you thought Kroenke playing a major role in destroying a multiple century-long football pyramid was bad, he then went on to face legal issues in the NFL.

Having instigated the movement and changing the name of the team from the St Louis Rams to the LA Rams, Kroenke ‘might be trying to back away’ from a promise he made to a multi-million-dollar legal expense relating to the move.

Other NFL owners are said to have been ‘angered’ by the news sources told ESPN who broke the story.

Even if this doesn’t have a direct relation to Arsenal, it just doesn’t come as a surprise that the American is anything but a philanthropist.

And it isn’t just amongst the rich owners that he has proved a lack of generosity, as the lack of care has been shown towards the people who are not amongst the wealthy in society but still fill his pockets.

Despite Arsenal’s poor performances on the pitch, the club’s ticket prices are still the most expensive in the league.

This is ridiculous when you consider that the Gunners have finished eighth in back-to-back seasons and have not hosted UEFA Champions League football since 2017.

I wish I could say that I was shocked by Kroenke’s philanthropy percentage but as his ownership grows longer his actions show what he is capable of and such little empathy there is amongst the board.

This development is just one of many that has happened and I am certain there will be more instances of Kroenke showing a lack of welfare whilst the owner of Arsenal football club.
