A man has been arrested in the US after he was allegedly found lurking outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's California mansion in the early hours of the morning.
Kevin Garcia Valdovinos now faces stalking charges, according to TMZ, after he was spotted by the Duke and Duchess' security team on site at their Montecito pad. The 29-year-old was alleged to have been caught by the grounds of the home at around 2am on Monday morning.
There is no confirmation yet whether Harry, Meghan and their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet were there at the time of the alleged incident.
Earlier this week, the couple had enjoyed their first public outing since the Coronation of King Charles as they headed out on a date night close to their home in California at the weekend.
Also in attendance at the Sushi Bar restaurant in Santa Barbara, not far from the Duke and Duchess' home, were Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Brad Falchuk and Cameron Diaz and Benji madden.
Meghan and Harry were then in New York City on Tuesday night for the Ms. Foundation awards, where Meghan was awarded the 2023 Women of Vision Award for her advocacy work for women.
Valdovinos was charged with alleged misdemeanour stalking and has since been released on $2,500 bail, according to TMZ.
The Santa Barbara Police Department have been contacted for comment for further information. This is not the first time the pair have been targeted by potential intruders at their home, which they've live in since 2020. That year, an Ohio man called Nickolas Brooks, 37, was found trespassing on the property on Christmas Eve and was issued a warning.
Meghan and Harry purchased their multimillion-dollar estate in Santa Barbara County for $14.7 million (£12.8m) and Harry has made sure to cover all the bases when it comes to keeping his home and his family safe and sound. They live on a very secluded spot in Montecito - on a private road in the Chateau of Riven Rock which is not accessed easily and is near to the homes of the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and the Sussexes' friend, Oprah Winfrey.
