Rangers matched an unwanted 131-year record in their loss to Hibernian.
Barry Ferguson's side fell to a 2-0 defeat at Ibrox against David Gray's charges in the Scottish Premiership.
The defeat also saw Rangers concede two goals in six successive league matches for the first time in more than a century.
Only once previously have Rangers conceded two goals in six consecutive league matches.
However, the loss to Hibs saw that record matched. Previously, Rangers conceded two goals in six straight league ties back between December 1893 and April 1894.
On the BBC Scottish Football Podcast, host Andrew Petrie had shared the stat ahead of the Hibs contest.
He said: "In their entire history, Only from December 1893 to April 1894 have they ever conceded twice in six successive league fixtures."
