A craft ale shop has opened in Kimberley. Kimberley Craft Ales announced to customers on Facebook it would open on Friday, April 1.
It comes after having its license issued by the council so it could open. Staff describe it as a "craft and real ale shop showcasing the best breweries from near and far". The shop is situated near the corner of James Street and Main Street.
Prior to the opening, staff said in a Facebook post: "Not long now until Friday when we will be open to welcome you in for some first class ales. Our license has been issued so we are ready to go."

An on the first day of trading, staff added in another post: "WOW!! That's a wrap folks. Thank you so much to everyone who came in, said 'hi', bought something, reached out on socials...
"Just thank you all for an amazing opening evening. We are speechless!! We've shut up now for the night but will be open again tomorrow at 12:00, looking forward to seeing you then! Now, time for a beer!! Big love."
