Police are appealing for information after a shop in Cookstown was robbed by a masked man wielding a knife on Thursday evening.
The incident at the shop on Union Street in the Co Tyrone town left a female staff member badly shaken but no one was injured, according to police.
The man is alleged to have entered the shop armed with a knife before demanding money from the female staff member. He made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes down a nearby alleyway.

He is described by police as being 6ft3 tall and wearing grey and black clothes, with black and white trainers.
"Detectives are appealing for information following a report of an armed robbery at commercial premises at the Union Street area of Cookstown on Thursday 19th January," a police spokesperson said.
Detective Inspector Ryan said: “Shortly before 7:25pm, it was reported that a masked man entered a shop in the area armed with a knife.
"The man demanded money from a female member of staff and made off on foot down an alleyway with a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes following the incident. The female staff member was not injured but left badly shaken.
“The man is described as being 6ft3 in height, wearing a grey/black coloured hooded top, grey coloured gloves and black and white trainers.
“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1846 19/01/23.
