Stacey Solomon shared her joy at she rushed off on a road trip to pick up a potential new pup just weeks after the death of her much-loved dog Theo.
The Loose Woman, 32, documented the car journey as a ''late-night adventure'' to a dog rescue centre after a match came up for a suitable family pet.
Last month, Stacey was left distraught after her dog of 11 years, Theo, died in her arms just after Christmas.
Posting to her Instagram Story en-route to the dog rescue centre, she told followers: "Been speaking to the incredible lady at the dog rescue all day and now we are off on a little late night adventure to meet a little fur baby who's being fostered and needs a home and our home & family could be a good match."
Stacey continued: "We are taking peanut and the little pickles to meet him."
She added: "I hope you're having a lovely Sunday."
The Tap To Tidy star also admitted she felt guilty about looking for another dog but her other pet Peanut is in need of a buddy.
Speaking on Instagram, she told fans: "We are looking into adopting a friend for him. But I must admit I feel so guilty about it. I just think about Theo.
"But our vet said Peanut may be a dog that absolutely needs a companion and it could be detrimental to his well-being if he doesn't have one."
Stacey has made a shrine in the garden of their Essex home as a tribute to Theo.
There is a memorial plaque, erected where he has been buried, reading: "Our darling Theo, we were so lucky to love you and we will never stop," the emotional sign read. "Sweet dreams, Fifi. 2010 - 2021."

Stacey likes to sit on a bench that had been placed next to the grave and remember her pooch.
She detailed of the bench: "I pulled a bench over so I can just sit and have a cuppa with her. Peanut just sat here looking at everything. He never just sits."
