Stacey Solomon has felt the support of her loyal fans after admitting to 'losing confidence'. The TV star took to Instagram on Thursday (October 27) to show off the results of her latest handiwork at her gorgeous Essex home.
She had been busy completing a special display in her new office at the family's £1.2m Tudor-style cottage that has been effectively dubbed Pickle Cottage, with Pickle being the nickname Stacey has given to all four of her children, when she decided to share the results with her millions of followers.
"I haven't been on here because I've been beavering away making something and I've just finished," a pleased Stacey, who could be seen in a white knitted jumper as she swung around on her white office chair, said to the camera. "I'm really proud of it," she laughed. "It looks so good. Or I think it looks good!"
She went on to say she'd 'reel it' on Instagram but added: "Even thought no one watched my reels, I'm going to show you!" Teasing the transformation on her Instagram Story, the mum-of-four typed: "When I asked you all what I should put above the desk, a mirror or picture, lots of you said neither [crying laughing emoji].
"Flowers and quotes were what you said so after farmer Scott's kind swingers grass donation yesterday, I decided to make this... Let me know what you think."
The 33-year-old then showed off the process behind the stunning new space as she donned a matching beige top and bottoms set and got to work. Stacey positioned the strands of the plant, also known as pampas grass, on the wall to create a beautiful wings-inspired visual above her wooden desk.
She then added a quote that read, 'let your dreams be your wings', in gold letters which had been created by her sister, Jemma. And in true Stacey fashion, the desk looked very organised, with little wooden pots for stationery and a place for her laptop and mug. "Let Your Dreams Be Your Wings…" she echoed in the caption of the post to her 5.4 million followers.
"I made a thing, I’m super proud of it. So I thought I’d put it on here. Pampas grass from farmer Scott’s garden (love him), a couple of dried flowers, some chicken wire and a special label from my sister."
Former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler was among the first to respond, writing: " I can’t even make a cheese toastie, how do you do this s**t Stacey?!" to which the Loose Women star humbly replied: " hahahaha Kate. I was kid free and work free so that help a heck of a lot. Also cheese toasties are an art form."
But fans were also being supportive of Stacey after she said on her Instagram Story later that evening: "Thank you for all your lovely messages tonight... I lost my confidence a bit on here lately so thank you for always being so lovely."
Adding her own uplifting message, the Sort Your Life Out presenter added: "Never forget what makes you happy, no matter what people think, if you love it then that's all that matters. Never stop being YOU. You're amazing."
@squashedpickle said: "Bloody love it! Who cares if no one sees it haha as long as it makes you happy @staceysolomon." @prettyinpinksquares commented: "Oh my gosh!! We defo DO watch your reels Stacey! This is so unique and wonderful." @clean2keepsane wrote: "That is absolutely STUNNING. You always have such good ideas."
@_karen.harris encouraged: "Stacey that’s excellent you are so clever and how the hell do you stay looking great after doing all that I’d look like I’ve been pulled through a hedge backwards. Keep doing what you do you have so many great ideas." @crazycleaningcrawford added: "Oh my days @staceysolomon you are so unbelievably talented! Please can you set up a workshop and teach me!! Honestly it’s gorgeous."
