Stacey Solomon has stayed silent about her plans for the Jubilee bank holiday, as comments she made about the royal family have resurfaced.
The Loose Women star has been quieter than usual on social media, but she is still present on peoples' newsfeeds, as a clip from her ITV show continues to circulate.
The video, from 2018, shows Stacey as she expresses criticism of the Royal Family on the ITV lunchtime panel- specifically her lack of understanding of the "obsession" with the Queen and rest of the Royals.
This is the second time Stacey's view has gone viral, as it is being re-shared on the likes of Twitter and TikTok - amid the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, reports Manchester Evening News.
In the clip, the 32-year-old appeared on Loose Women alongside panellists Christine Lampard, Linda Robson and Jane Moore.
She said: "I don’t get why we’re so obsessed with these humans that are exactly the same. It could be us four sitting there, I just don’t get it."
As Jane raises the idea that the Royals are "becoming like celebrities", Stacey replies: "To me, that's what they are."
She then questioned her fellow panellists on their reasons for “loving” the Queen. Jane answered: "For duty, responsibility, figurehead,” while Linda stated: “She’s always worked really hard, hasn’t she?”
"But I would work hard if the country paid for me to have like 12 houses and work really hard,"
Stacey responded. "They don't pay for all the houses," Jane said, "We contribute about £39m a year. It costs £300m a year to run the Royal Family.
"But I’m with you. After the Queen, I’d have them all on bicycles and living in a terraced house. But I love the Queen, I think she’s fantastic."
As they debated the royal family's extravagant homes and accommodation, former X Factor star Stacey added: "It’s freezing cold outside and people are homeless and these people have houses to spare and it does sometimes become a little bit frustrating because I don’t see the purpose of all that money going to this entire family."
Twitter user @LeGateauChoc was among those sharing the clip. In a tweet, they wrote: "'I just don’t get it…' - Stacey Solomon."
The 39-second video has racked up 1.6m views with more than 51,000 likes. And many appeared to agree with Stacey. @Melfynjones1 said: "I don't get it either. Never did, never will."
