Stacey Solomon 'so grateful' as baby is due 'imminently'

Stacey Solomon has said she was grateful for many of the things in her life including life itself.

The Loose Women panellist joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV talk show as they discussed the latest series of Sort Your Life out. The mum-of-four filmed the latest episodes before telling the world that she was pregnant.

The 32-year-old said her new baby is expected to arrive 'imminently'. She and Lorraine joked she could even give birth right there in the studio.

Speaking of her pregnancy she said: "It was a surprise but we really are so grateful. We just love being parents."

But when asked about her organisation skills, Stacey admitted: "Nothing I do is perfect. I'm grateful just to be alive so generally I'm quite high spirited and happy." Lorraine agreed as she said Stacey's personality really shows on Loose Women.

The mum-to-be added that she loves being on the show. She said: "Again, I'm just grateful to be on there. When I was on X Factor 14 years ago... I never even thought I'd be on a show like this never mind have opportunities like Sort Your Life Out and Loose Women.

"So every time I get to do something like that I'm genuinely like 'thank goodness, this is amazing!'. You've just got to keep enjoying it because you never know when it'll be gone and when those things aren't going to be there."

Lorraine asked: "Are your children very neat and tidy?" Stacey said: "It's funny because I think it's just in you isn't it?

"My eldest is just absolutely happy to live in like a pig's sty. He loves it and I let him. I let him because it's not my job to tidy in there. If that's how he wants to live then that's how he lives.

"My middle is really regimented. He can't function at all unless everything is in the right place, so he's really tidy. And then the little ones are the little ones aren't they? You have to sing the tidy up song 17,000 times."

Speaking of her pregnancy she said: "It was a surprise but we really are so grateful. We just love being parents."
