Stacey Solomon has shared rare pictures with her husband Joe Swash's family while also explaining why fans don't get to see her own mum. The Loose Women star was all smiles on Sunday as she marked her first Mother's Day as a mum-of-five.
Stacey, 33, and Joe, 41, also share 17-month-old daughter Rose and three-year-old son Rex together while Stacey is also a doting mum to older sons Zachary and Leighton, and Joe is a proud dad to his teenage son Harry with his ex-fiancee. Their second daughter, Belle, "literally flew" into the world, according to her doting mum, on February 7. The newborn baby girl is the couple's first child since tying the knot last summer in an intimate ceremony in the garden of their home, dubbed 'Pickle Cottage' due to Stacey's nickname of 'pickle' for her children.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (March 19), Stacey couldn't have looked happier as she got her adorable brood together for a group snap. The beaming mum could be seen surrounded by her children, with her cradling her newborn, while eldest child Zachary held on to a sleeping Rose.
The image came after a busy day of visiting for Stacey, Joe and their brood as they headed into London to meet up with the former EastEnders star's family. Stacey posted a sweet image to her Instagram Story of herself with Joe's mum, who was holding on to her newest grandchild, and Joe's sister.
"All the Mummas," the Sort Your Life Out host typed alongside the image. "We went to see Joe's mummy and sisters in London," before sharing another snap of a full table as the group headed out for lunch to mark the special occasion. "Thank G-d for playdough and colouring," Stacey wrote alongside a crying laughing emoji.
The former X Factor finalist then posted a photo of a bunch of flowers as she shared how she had headed to see her mum. She then took to opportunity to explain why fans don't see her on social media as Stacey shares much of her life with her loyal followers. "She doesn't like photos so here's a pic of my card and past necklace from Rexy," Stacey wrote alongside a crying emoji. "I'll never not absolutely ball my eyes out every time I get a pasta necklace," she added with a crying laughing emoji.
Stacey's Mother's Day fun comes after she shared her excitement at booking her first big holiday as a family of seven. She will soon be jetting off on her first family holiday in four years and took to Instagram on Saturday to show off her new purchase, as she revealed she had bought a huge sun hat.
In a video shared on her Instagram Story, Stacey said: "I've always wanted one of those giant summer hats, but I've never had anywhere to go to wear one so I thought, 'I'm buying one for this holiday,' and it's just arrived!" Holding it up to the camera, Stacey disappeared behind the hat and said: "It's even more giant than I thought it would be."
She tried it on and asked: "How cool is this?" Stacey then struggled to style the hat and asked: "How do you wear these? How do you wear these and see? That's not right, I look like a blooming fajita. Anyone have any tips for these, like, how do you put them on? I wanna look like Marilyn Monroe, not Speedy Gonzales. Oh my God, I just look like a giant pizza!"
Earlier, Stacey shared a snap and wrote: "So last night we finally chose where to go on holiday & booked somewhere (thank you for your suggestions we went with what most of you said). We all together haven't been on an airplane since or [sic] last family holiday in 2019!!! 4 years ago. I'm sooo excited! It'll [be] Rose and Belle's first ever plane ride and Rex wouldn't remember the last time we took him when he was 5 months."
