Stacey Solomon had an unexpected snow day at her stunning home after she was snowed in an unable to travel to work in Wales. The Loose Women star was due to travel back and forth from her family home in Essex as she films a new episode of Sort Your Life Out.
Stacey revealed over the weekend that she is teaming up with her best friend and cleaning influencer Sophie Hinchcliffe, aka Mrs Hinch, for the latest episode of her BBC One series. Alongside an image of the pair wrapped up warm in the frosty outdoors on her Instagram Story on Sunday, the 33-year-old wrote: "I'll be back and forth to Wales for the next week for the last episode of Sort Your Life Out.
"So grateful I get to do it with a special friend this time. @mrshinchhome makes working away so so lovely! To the moon and back Soph! Let's do this." Sophie, 32, then shared the same snap to her 4.1million Instagram followers, writing: "Filming with this one @staceysolomon.

But on Monday (December 12), Stacey was unable to head out to filming or go in person for her radio and TV appearance due to the weather. She said that they were waiting for the gritters as no one was prepared for the snowfall and that no cars would 'travel up the hill' either.
What it did mean, however, is that Stacey got an unexpected day with her youngest children and husband Joe Swash, with the group heading outside to make snow angels, ride around on a sled and have snowball fights.
Sharing a string of adorable photos to her millions of Instagram followers as she played outside with her son, Rex, three, and one-year-old daughter Rose, Stacey penned: "The First Snow At Pickle Cottage & Rose’s first ever snow.
"We woke up to what seemed like Narnia outside the window and the kids have never been so excited. Our roads hadn’t gotten round to being gritted so all school & work was snowed off! So we made the most of a very very rare snow day & spent all day in Joes childhood sleigh that he has had since he was 10, making snow angels & having snowball fights.
"It was such a special day that none of us new was coming. Happy Monday everyone… Hope you’re ok, and not too snowed in! Lots and lots of love from all of us."
Sharing more on her Instagram Story alongside a video of Joe pulling Rex and Rose in the sled around their sprawling garden, the mum-of-four wrote: "Sleigh rides in daddy's childhood sleigh," alongside an emotional face emoji.
"This is Joe's sleigh that his dad bought from him during one of the last winters he had with him. Watching our babies making memories in it is the most special feeling ever," she added with a crying emoji.
But Stacey ended up being defended by fans as some complained over the photos she shared due to Rex not wearing a hat like Stacey, Joe and Rose were.
@mrs_melly_86 said: "It's hard keeping a hat on a kid that doesn't want to wear one! It is a post of lovely fun pictures of a family enjoying the snow and that is your comment." @lauralouiseoreilly commented: "Sometimes kids don't like wearing hats. Way to go at shaming a mum when she's just trying to share some nice family photos."
