Stacey Solomon says 'sorry' to fans as she teases next job and says it's her 'dream'

Stacey Solomon has set her fans' minds racing after teasing her next job in a cryptic social media post - despite the planned start date being months away. The TV star revealed to her loyal followers that she had "one of the most exciting meetings" on Friday (May 19).

Sharing the news on her Instagram Story, Stacey, 33, filmed herself writing a note in her diary. The mum-of-five, who welcomed her fifth child in February this year, was seen spelling out "September 2023" before adding a heart doodle underneath.

Writing alongside the clip, Stacey said: "Just had one of the most exciting meetings of my life. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this with you soon." She then added: "My dream."

And fans were clearly messaging her about her cryptic post as she later shared a follow-up. Posting a black and white snap of her resting with her sleeping baby daughter, Belle, Stacey wrote: "Your messages are soooo lovely," with a face holding back tears emoji. "Can't wait to show you everything I've been working so hard on.

"So many of you telling me it's 'about time Stace'," with a crying laughing emoji. "Sorry!! I just wanted it to be as perfect and special as I possible could. Anyway, love you all loads."

It comes after Stacey shared how she has returned to filming away from home and on Thursday (May 18), the former X Factor finalist and Queen of the Jungle shared a look at what she was up to and confirmed she was filmed for her upcoming new show. Brickin' It is set to air on Channel 4 and will see Stacey and her team help people who have been done over by bad builders, run out of funding or simply can't finish their projects.

Revealing more about it back in January, Stacey couldn't believe her luck as the project involved a famous actress. "For a little while I've been talking to Channel 4 and a production company called Hello Sunshine which was founded by Reese Witherspoon," she shared.

She later said 'sorry' as she was flooded with messages (Stacey Solomon Instagram)

"She created it to champion women in film and TV, she's just incredible at building women up and putting them at the forefront. And they asked me if I wanted to make a show with them and I was like' hell yeah I'll make a show with Reese Witherspoon's production company'. It is thought that Brickin' It with Stacey will be Hello Sunshine's first UK project.

Posting a snap of her being mic'd up by the sea, Stacey wrote: "Bricking it in Devon day one - done." She went on: "Now to head back home to the Pickles." She went on to say: "What a beautiful place to visit and the couple we are helping today were honestly two of the nicest people I've ever met. And they've had a crappy few years so it was so lovely to give them a hug and make exciting plans for them."
