Stacey Solomon says she feels 'silly' and admits having 'confidence crisis' ahead of sharing home birth story

Stacey Solomon has spoken about feeling 'silly' and having a 'confidence crisis' ahead of sharing her home birth story. The mum-of-five gave birth to her youngest daughter Belle at Pickle Cottage, the home she shares with husband Joe Swash, in February this year.

Stacey, 33, who won the tenth series of I'm a Celebrity in 2010, announced she was expecting the latest addition to their family in December 2022. Her and former EastEnders actor Joe, who has recently appeared on the South African 'all-star' series of I'm A Celeb, are proud parents to Rex, three, and one-year-old Rose.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter also has older sons Zach, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships while Joe also has 15-year-old son Harry with his ex.

Taking to her Instagram stories to speak to her 5.6 million followers, the Loose Women panellist revealed she was answering some questions from fans whilst her three youngest children enjoyed a nap.

As one fan asked: "How are you finding life with five children?" She responded: "It's been incredible like so amazing. I can't believe I am lucky enough to say I am a mum of five.

"I love being a mum so much like I genuinely love it."

One follower then asked Stacey "can we have Belle's birth story?," to which Stacey admitted she has been having a 'confidence crisis' before uploading it.

The 33-year-old told fans: "Ok so... really want to share my home birth story... But there's so much that I want to say on it all and share that I feel it's too long for instagram.

"So l borrowed my dad's camera and actually filmed a long video about it. thought I could upload it to YouTube for anyone who wants to watch it.

"But then I had a bit of a confidence crisis and felt silly uploading it. I thought "get over it Stace no one wants or needs this" but maybe my hormones were getting the better of me?

"Should I put it on YouTube AND maybe start a channel for longer videos to share more of those things that are too long for insta?," she asked.

It comes after Stacey's husband Joe appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday (May 10) to talk about his time on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa.

The former EastEnders actor entered camp on day seven alongside fellow EastEnders star Dean Gaffney but was booted out earlier this week after losing out in a trial.

Speaking to the Loose Women panel, Joe revealed he missed his children and wife Stacey, who he married at their home Pickle Cottage in July 2022, which made his experience in the 'all-star' series very difficult.

"I think I found it tougher ultimately because of being away from the kids for so long. I missed my family so much. We had our phones taken away and I’ve never not had communication with them before," he explained.

"My kids are young and I knew they wouldn’t really understand where I was and would be upset. It really played on me. And being in the camp, it always brings up memories for me of Stacey. If it wasn’t for the show, I would never have my family."

He added: "My family were always in the front of my mind. I found that really difficult. A lot harder than I thought I would. But again I was really lucky as the people in camp kept my spirits high."
