Stacey Solomon has told her fans it's 'carnage' as she tried to offer a life update after a quiet period following her luxury holiday. The Loose Women star recently jetted back from Abu Dhabi with her husband Joe Swash and their children for their first holiday in four years.
The couple, who wed back in July, whisked their brood, and Stacey's dad David, off on a sunshine break just months after welcoming their fifth child, Belle, into the world. Stacey, 33, offered various updates from their trip as they enjoyed some much-needed family time.
But after a fun-filled break, the family headed back to their Essex abode, dubbed Pickle Cottage, just in time for Easter. Earlier this week, after celebrating Easter a day later due to the family's jet-lag, Stacey shared the reality of the family-of-seven's life as she apologised to fans for being quiet on social media since arriving back home. "Two days later but never mind," the Sort Your Life Out host typed on her Instagram Story alongside a crying laughing emoji.
She was referring to a post she made to her millions of followers on her main grid which she titled: "Belle's 1st Easter." She then added: "If anyone needs me, I'll be in the utility swamped by holiday washing next to the warm tumble dryer pretending I'm still in Abu Dhabi [crying laughing emoji]." In a follow-up post, she added: "Hello everyone... Sorry I'm so quite. I'm trying to catch up with myself."
And Stacey was back again on Thursday (April 13) with an honest update. Posting a video to her Instagram Story, the mum-of-five could be seen sat on her bed trying to brush her blonde locks as Belle rested on her lap and Rex played on the floor in front of her. "Heppa Thursday, I just wanted to come on here and say 'hello'. I feel like I haven't been on here in so long just because the holidays are absolutely manic."
She went on to share how the family enjoyed a sweet day out to an animal sanctuary where Joe took Rose, one, and three-year-old Rex into see the animals. "Today, I've still got to catch up on my washing," Stacey the confessed. "And try and get all of these [the kids] back into routine before school starts again.
"But anyway, I just wanted to come on and say hi really and that I love you all loads. This is why I'm not on as much during the holidays because it's actual carnage," she laughed before typing alongside the clip: "Just thought I'd try and sit and catch up with you all. It's carnage over her [crying laughing emoji]. So I'm just trying to spend time with the babies before East break is over. Miss you all."
