Stacey Solomon's BBC series Sort Your Lift Out series has been hit with over 1,500 animal cruelty complaints.
A recent episode saw the Loose Women panellist proposing moving a family's pet rabbit into a hutch outside.
The rabbits usually live in a large conservatory but the TV presenter suggested the animals be moved to a hutch.
At the time it aired, viewers took to social media to hit out at Stacey and claimed to move the animals outside was 'animal cruelty'.
It has since been revealed that Sort Your Life Out received the highest number of complaints of all BBC shows between January 30 and February 12.
Around 1,502 complaints were made to BBC by viewers.
The Rabbit Welfare Association and Trust also posted a link and encouraged viewers to file a complaint.
At the time, they wrote: "Before we comment any more, we want to make it clear that we think that this is the Production company's responsibility, not the presenter, and we won't allow any comments against Stacey Solomon.
"The Production company should have done their research."
They added: "We have contacted the Production company for a response. With regards to the ridiculous response from the BBC to ours, and everyone else's complaint, you can follow this up via the same link on their website with the previous complaint case number to hand."
Users rushed to Twitter to complain, with one user writing: "Love love @StaceySolomon but so disappointed that Sort Your Life Out has shown rabbits being moved from a nice spacious indoor run to a cramped outdoor hutch, hutches are absolutely not enough #SYLO."
"Enjoyed this tonight until the rabbits were kicked into the garden," another said. "That hutch is too small for anything other than a bolt hole! There's enough bad rabbit rearing without this encouragement #SortYourLifeOut."
"That hutch is way too small for those rabbits and where is the run @StaceySolomon #SortYourLifeOut @RabbitRWAF," one person tweeted.
A BBC spokesperson responded to the backlash and said the rabbits 'usually live outside' and were only placed inside for a short period of time.
"The rabbits have full access to a wide, enclosed garden to roam around in, with the hutch being a place to come and go as they please during the day, as well as a safe and secure space for them to sleep in at night," they said.
