Stacey Solomon has joked her youngest son Rex “looks about 21” after he asked his mum if he could get a haircut.
The three-year-old was known for his long blonde hair, but Stacey revealed he decided to cut it all off last week.
Posting a sweet photo of Rex’s new look as he cuddled baby sister Belle, who is just a month old, Stacey couldn’t contain her laughter.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she told her 5.6 million followers: “GOOD MORNING lots of love from Rex & Belle.”
The mum-of-five continued: “Rexy does not love that he doesn’t get to see Belle while he’s at nursery. So he has all the morning Belle cuddles before he goes.
“He had another haircut on Friday because he wanted it shorter and I feel like he looks about 21.”
The 33-year-old Loose Women star is a new mum again after welcoming her third child with husband Joe Swash.
After tying the knot in a special ceremony at Pickle Cottage last summer, the couple are now parents to Rex, three, one-year-old Rose and baby Belle, who was born in February.
Stacey is also mum to sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships. While Joe has 15-year-old son Harry with an ex.
Not one to shy away from the realities of parenthood, an honest Stacey was in fits of giggles again as she shared her latest ‘faux pas’.
Stacey posed for photos Joe and with Belle to mark a month since her birth, which were taken by a friend.
But afterwards Stacey noticed there was something she should have done first – brush her teeth!
One fan commented: "Gorgeous photos. But, am I the only one who's noticed Stacey has something stuck in her teeth? I'm sure it can be edited out though. x"
In a late night video clip, Stacey laughed over the beady-eyed fan's comment and said: "Oh, I didn't even notice and now it's all I can see when I look at the pictures.”
Stacey, who recently celebrated washing her hair for the first time three weeks since giving birth, continued: "I don't sleep and I eat all day, like, I'm surprised it's just the one picture with the herb in the tooth.”
Poking fun at herself for the gaffe, she added: "At least you know my photos aren't edited.”
Writing on top of the video, Stacey said: "Note to self: brush your teeth when your friend says "let me takes some special newborn pictures for you"," followed by a laughing face emoji and a monkey covering its eyes emoji before adding: "Ffs."
