Stacey Solomon 's kids aren't happy with their mum after she decided to get a tattoo tribute to her husband instead of them.
After leaving I'm A Celebrity on Tuesday night, Joe Swash appeared on Loose Women where he discussed Stacey's new tattoo and their kids' reactions. The BBC Sort Your Life Out star, 33, previously said she was going through a 'midlife crisis' as she wanted to get a tattoo in honour of her kids.
Stacey shared videos of her tattoo artist brother applying stencils, before eagle-eyed fans noticed her first ever inking on her hand. The former X Factor star enjoyed a night-out with her sister Gemma and Mrs Hinch and fans spotted Stacey's tattoo on her hand, as ' Joe' was inked along her ring finger in stunning calligraphy.
Speaking on the ITV chat show, Joe said he was "really surprised" by his wife's sweet gesture and noted their kids weren't too happy she changed her mind.
He said: "I was so surprised! She was going off to do one for the kids and get one for the kids, but I don't think she could make her mind up so she got me done. The kids were so annoyed about it, they were like 'what's going on here mum?'"
Joe now feels the pressure to get one for Stacey – but thinks she'll except a grand gesture of his choice. "I feel like she's expecting one back and she's only got a little one on her finger," he added.
"You know what Stacey's like, she's going to want one on my forehead or something," he explained, leaving the panellists in fits of laughter.
He also revealed he was very touched by the inking, adding: "I was so touched by it, I said to her 'you do love me don't you'."
Stacey and Joe share children Rex, Rose and Belle together while Stacey has Leighton and Zachary from previous relationships and Joe has son Harry with his ex partner. Joe admitted that he really struggled in the South African jungle as he was away from his family for too long.
"I think I found it tougher ultimately because of being away from the kids for so long. I missed my family so much. We had our phones taken away and I’ve never not had communication with them before," he explained.
"My kids are young and I knew they wouldn’t really understand where I was and would be upset. It really played on me. And being in the camp, it always brings up memories for me of Stacey. If it wasn’t for the show, I would never have my family."
He added: "My family were always in the front of my mind. I found that really difficult. A lot harder than I thought I would. But again I was really lucky as the people in camp kept my spirits high."
