Stacey Solomon is using some interesting methods to kickstart her labour, but her efforts to get baby moving were met with laughter from Joe Swash after she admitted her fifth child would simply ‘slide out’.
Taking to her Instagram story yesterday, she wished her fans ‘Happy Friday’ as she shared an image of herself trying to drink a cup of tea whilst in a low squat position.
“Happy Friday from me squatting at every opportunity just to try and let gravity do some of the work before labour kicks in,” she wrote.
“Did anyone else do this or am I just a weirdo? Joe thinks it’s hilarious,” the Loose Woman presenter, 33, admitted.
A little later that evening, Stacey confirmed that her pregnancy was ‘still going’ after she suggested a slew of fans were asking whether she had yet gone into labour.
“I thought I’d come on and say hello. Still cooking, still going.
“I think because Rex and Rose were a little bit early, I automatically just assumed she’d be here by now - because, you know, the more [children] you have, the more they sort of slip and slide out. Or that’s what I thought, anyway.
“But it’s not the case. She’s very comfy in there, and I’m quite enjoying it actually as I feel like this pregnancy has been shorter, so it’s nice to keep going and tie up all my lose ends and get ready a little bit.”
Stacey also thanked her fans for their well-wishes after she announced she’s expecting another little girl, meaning her youngest child Rose will have a sister as well as her three older brothers.
Moments after updating her Instagram followers on her latest scan , Stacey went on to share two adorable snaps of her baby girl Rose resting on her bump and explained how excited she is to be giving her youngest child a sister.
"So excited to share with you that we are going to be saying hello to another darling daughter soon," she told fans.
