Stacey Solomon reveals sweet tattoo for husband Joe as she heads home after partying with friends

Stacey Solomon has revealed her first ever tattoo - and it's a sweet tribute to her husband Joe Swash. The mum-of-five showed the inking in a photo posted on her Instagram after a night out with her sister Jemma and friends including cleaning guru Sophie Hinchliffe, best known as Mrs Hinch.

In the the snap showing her heading home after a birthday brunch and drag bingo, she laughed as she rummaged through her handbag. She said she had amused her friends with the contents of her bag.

"On the train home and they're laughing at me again because all I have in my bag is two dummies and my phone," she wrote. "Why am I this person?"

In the photo a tattoo could be seen on the inside of her ring finger. It reads 'Joe' in fine handwriting. The Loose Women and Sort Your Life Out star, 33, took to Instagram earlier this month to ask fans for their advice as she wondered 'am I having a midlife crisis?

She was having a quiet moment at home with her baby girl Belle when she started wondering if she should get a permanent inking tribute to her brood. "So Rose and Rex are at Auntie Gemma's so me and Bella we're having a quiet Friday night laying on the sofa and I think I want a tattoo" she said.

Stacey, who welcomed Belle in February with her TV presenter and former EastEnders actor hubby Joe, was curious to know if any of her followers also have tattoos in their thirties. She asked: "Have any of you got tattoos late on in life?" She continued: "Not that I'm later on in life, you know what I mean. Most people get them when they're really young. Will I regret it?"

Stacey, who also has a daughter Rose born in October 2021 and a son Rex born in May 2019 with Joe, said she'd like all the kids names written in hebrew 'somewhere on my body.' The star, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2010, also has older sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10.

Stacey recently didn't hold back when she unleashed a public rant about Joe after returning home from a whistle-stop work trip to Paris with her daughters. It marked Stacey's return to work for the first time since giving birth to her fifth child.

When she headed back to Essex, Stacey was left seriously unimpressed with her man as she said: "I don't know if I'm just tired or it really is as awful as I think it is. But I got home last night, put the kids to bed and woke up this morning and Joe was like 'I'm going to work, but don't worry I've done all the washing for you.'"

Stacey then joked: "I weren't even here, I didn't get dressed here but sure, it's for me, thank you. So I came downstairs, girls are down for a nap, and I thought I'd go in the utility room and put my washing on from Paris."

Turning the camera around to show piles of washing, she continued: "What the hell happened in the last two days? How many clothes did they wear that this much washing needed to be done? I caught up before I went away. And also I feel like putting it in the washing machine and putting it in the dryer is the easiest bit - I'm left with this!"

Stacey captioned the video as she posted it to her millions of followers: "What on earth happened here?" She then shared a time lapse of her folding the clean clothes or hanging them up to be put away and added: "Well that's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back." She also added in the caption: "I would never usually do Zach and Leighton's stuff, they always do their own, but I'll be honest, I'm just so angry looking at it, I can't leave it there."

In a later clip, Stacey told her followers that Joe was home doing the bedtime routine with the children while she was having a bath, as he knew "what was good for him". As she soaked in the tub, she said to the camera: "I've let it fester all day as well, and he knows to stay away because I've built it up.
