Stacey Solomon reveals 'craziest job ever' as she details end of maternity leave two months after home birth with Belle

Stacey Solomon has told fans that she is about to embark on her 'craziest job ever' that is set to see her ditch the UK as she returns to work for the first time since giving birth to her fifth child back in February.

The Loose Women star and her husband Joe Swash are now a happy family of eight after welcoming their second daughter, Belle, into the world. Their little girl is the loved-up couple's third child together, their first since tying the knot last summer in an intimate ceremony in the garden of their home, dubbed 'Pickle Cottage' due to Stacey's nickname of 'pickle' for her children.

Stacey, 33, and Joe, 41, also share 18-month-old daughter Rose and three-year-old son Rex together while Stacey is also a doting mum to older sons Zachary and Leighton, and Joe is a proud dad to his teenage son Harry with his ex-fiancee.

In her latest family update, as she took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (April 18), 33-year-old Stacey finally managed to have a catch up with her fans after previously sharing how her home life was 'carange' during the recent Easter holidays.

And as she chatted away to her millions of followers, the Sort Your Life Out host shared the exciting news she's heading to Paris soon for her "craziest job ever" and is taking her two-month-old daughter Belle with her.

Stacey revealed she's got her first job since welcoming Belle coming up next week, despite currently being on maternity leave. "So yeah I've got my first day back next week and it's the craziest job ever," Stacey excitedly told her fans in the video as she was seen doing her morning routine.

"I'm going to Paris!" she then joyfully added. "I really can't stress to you enough how I never get jobs like this," the star added as she continued to go through her morning skincare and make-up routine in the video. Stacey couldn't hide her excitement as she spoke about jetting off to to work in France, and explained why baby Belle will be making the trip too.

The former X Factor finalist explained that while she is trying to stop breastfeeding she hasn't "figured it out" yet, so is taking Belle on the work trip. "I'm taking Belle with me because I haven't worked out the breastfeeding thing yet. I'm trying to wean her off a little bit, which is sad, but I just can't do it all," she said.

Stacey added: "I can't do work, school runs, kids, breastfeeding. It's just impossible." She went on to tease her new Channel 4 show, titled Brickin' It, which will focus on homeowners who need help with their building projects. Stacey wanted her followers to apply to take part in the new series as she revealed she'll begin working on Brickin' It after her trip to Paris.

Stacey revealed back in January that she had accepted the new job after being invited to work on a new Channel 4 show by a Hollywood star's production company. She said in a video from her home at the time: "For a little while I've been talking to Channel 4 and a production company called Hello Sunshine which was founded by Reese Witherspoon. She created it to champion women in film and TV, she's just incredible at building women up and putting them at the forefront.

"And they asked me if I wanted to make a show with them and I was like' hell yeah I'll make a show with Reese Witherspoon's production company'. They are words I never thought I'd say. So in the summer we're gonna start filming a show called Brickin' It.

"And it's basically gonna be a show where we go in and help people who have been done over by bad builders, run out of funding, can't finish their projects and we're gonna help them get to where they need to be. And I get to learn new skills along the way so I'm gonna learn things that I have always wanted to do but I'm not confident with, so like roofing, bricklaying, proper DIY.

She then rounded off her post: "I can't wait. I'm so excited and just I'm so happy that I finally get to share it." It is thought that Brickin' It with Stacey will be Hello Sunshine's first UK project.
