Stacey Solomon on verge of tears over messages about her son turning four as she claps back

Stacey Solomon has marked her youngest son turning four with a collection of gorgeous snaps of herself and husband Joe Swash with the birthday boy. Stacey, 33, shared a collection of sweet pictures on Instagram of Rex now with his proud mum and dad and of the doting mum cradling him on the day he was born.

The Loose Women star marvelled at just how fast the time had flown and how big Rex has grown. But she clapped back as she said people have brought her to the verge of tears with video messages on the subject after she said it was his 'last baby birthday.'

The mother-of-five wrote in a heartfelt message to her son: "Four whole years of you Rex HAPPY BIRTHDAY PICKLE. Wow that has flown faster than we could have ever imagined. I can not believe how big you’ve gotten especially in this last year.

"Next stop big school. What a kind, happy, caring, special young man you’re growing up to be. Mummy & Daddy are so proud of you Rexy. Too the moon and back always!"

But Stacey added: "P.S if I see one more video of people telling me you only have little kids for four years I’m going to cry . It’s not true they’ll be your baby forever and you’re doing amazing."

Earlier Stacey, who also has sons Zachary, 15 and Leighton, 11, and two daughters Rose, one, and Belle, had shared a video as she reflected on Rex turning four. ""It's been an emotional morning in the Solomon Swash residence because it was Rex's fourth birthday today," she explained.

"I don't know why it feels more emotional at four. I think it's because I know this is like his last baby birthday and he's going to big school in September." She added: "Also I feel like over the last year he's just grown up so much. The haircut didn't help but he's just changed from a baby."

The birthday messages came pouring in including from her dad David who said: "Rex you are the cutest naughty boy i could ever have but I still love you so much it's ridiculous. You're awesome clever and so funny love you baby boy 4 where did that go?"

Daisy Upton gasped: "Happy birthday Rex! That’s gone so fast!!" Kelly Foster remarked: "Oh my word, how can this handsome little pickle be 4??" And crazycleaningcrawford asked: "How is he 4 @staceysolomon it’s like yesterday you announced his arrival!!"

The Sort Your Life Out presenter was recently hailed a 'superwoman' by former EastEnders star Joe as he shared a video of his wife tending to their children on her first day back at work after welcoming Belle. "Just because It was my first day back to filming away since I had Belle and starting a whole new job and this just made my whole day," she wrote as she shared Joe's bolstering message with the song The Best.
