Stacey Solomon has given an 'emotional' update on life with her newborn daughter after revealing her Disney-inspired name. The Loose Women star announced on Monday (February 13) that she and her husband, Joe Swash, had decided on the name Belle for their beautiful baby girl.
Sharing adorable new snaps of her daughter, Stacey introduced: "Belle Our little Belle. Our beautiful, delicate baby girl. Who will forever remind us of the bluebells that are about to bloom as you bring the spring with you into the world…" It came after the mum-of-five teased the now announcement.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 33-year-old shared a photo of Belle resting on her chest and typed: "Reading all your lovely messages we really wanted to meet her and get to know her before we decided on a name but we think we know who she is now." She then wrote as she linked to the announcement post: "And from that day forward she was forever known as..."
It came just two days after Stacey announced her and Joe's second daughter's arrival into the world, 16 months after the pair had daughter Rose. Sharing details of the birth, Stacey said her precious daughter "literally flew" into the world, and she marvelled at her newborn's head of thick dark hair. "She’s here our beautiful, daughter born at home with all of your brothers and sister ready to snuggle you forever and ever."
Stacey and Joe are also proud parents to Rex, three, and Rose, who was born on Stacey's birthday on October 4 2021. Stacey also has older sons Zach, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships while Joe also has 15-year-old son Harry with his ex, Emma Sophocleous.
On Tuesday, Stacey Instagrammed a gorgeous photo of her girls together. In the super-cute picture baby Rose smiled at her newborn sister as they snuggled in matching love heart outfits. The Sort Your Life Out host captioned the snap: "Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Rose is so in love." Before sharing a photo of her eldest son, Zach, peering over his baby sister's cot.
"Before you know it they turn into this," she said with a laughing emoji. And she added: "Zachy you're so special Luckiest siblings in the world to have you as their brother." And it appears her eldest son is the most doting big brother as he kept his mum company late into the night.
Sharing a picture of Zachary with baby Belle sleeping on his torso, Stacey wrote: "So emotional tonight," adding an emoji of a face holding back the tears. "Happy emotional, but honestly a slice of toast could set me off atm," she added with a laughing emoji. "Hope you’re all ok. Lots of love from me, Belle and Zachary keeping me company on tonight’s feed."
It came after Stacey had a visit from her sister, Jemma, who brought round an adorable hamper to Pickle Cottage for the new mum. Filming Jemma doting on her new niece, Stacey wrote: "I love you so much @label.lady.1 Sisters [crying emoji]. I get emotional thinking about Rose and Belle going through left with each other," before adding more crying face emojis.
