Stacey Solomon fights tears as she tells fans it's a 'big day' and details fear career will be 'taken' from her

Stacey Solomon was seen fighting back tears as she apologised to her fans before revealing she had a 'big day' ahead of her. The Loose Women star has been super busy at work after returning from maternity leave months after welcoming her fifth child into the world.

After welcoming her daughter Belle into the world in February, her third child with her husband Joe Swash, Stacey dipped her toe back into the working world when in April, she headed to Paris. She said at the time it was her "craziest job ever" and revealed that one-year-old Rose had also joined her and baby Belle on the trip as L'Oreal Paris, who she was working with, said to bring her along.

And last month, the 33-year-old showed off her latest range with Manchester fashion brand In The Style, with the images being shot in the garden of her family's sprawling abode, nicknamed Pickle Cottage, a nod to the nickname Stacey has for her children.

But since then, things have got more intense for Stacey as she returned to nipping up and down the country for long days filming her BBC One show, Sort Your Life Out.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (June 14), Stacey apologised to her followers for being 'quiet' on the platform due to her busy working schedule. "Good Morning, I'm back from York," she declared at the start of the clip as she lifted her arm in celebration. "Sorry if I was quiet yesterday. I left here at 4 o'clock in the morning and got back about 11 [at night].

"It was a long warehouse day but today, I am dressed and ready to shoot something from home." The former X Factor finalist and I'm A Celebrity winner looked stunning in the video as she kept her blond locks straight and pulled to one side while sporting an off-the-shoulder denim dress.

But Stacey soon appeared to get emotional as she discussed the importance of her latest project and detailed her fear that her career 'happened by accident' and could be taken away. "I actually feel about emotion. I think I feel emotional because a lot of the time I honestly feel like I can't believe that some of the things I get to do, I get to do.

"I almost feel like it's happened by accident. Like this wasn't the life meant for me. Not Stacey from Dagenham. So it's happened by accident so then I'm like, 'Quick, everyone! Let's run with it. let's go for it let's go for it,' before someone comes along and says, 'Oops, we got the wrong person'.

"And then when you're working on something special and you finally get to see it all today and shoot it and it becomes a real thing and it's actually happened, it's almost a relief that it's happened and I've got there and it actually is real. I get really... I'm very excited."

Stacey's excitement then continued when she revealed there was a breakfast truck in her garden. "I haven't got to make breakfast today," she beamed. "That's the first meeting of the day. I'm going to let all the kids go in there. But yeah, I just wanted to say Happy Wednesday, sorry I missed you yesterday. It was the craziest day ever in York but I love you all loads."

It comes after Stacey opened up to her followers and shared her emotions about her middle son Leighton who is preparing to head to a secondary school after the summer holidays. She admitted that she was feeling 'nervous' for the youngster as none of his friends from primary school are heading to the same one - while noting her own nerves too as she feels apprehensive about making new friends.

It took me a really long time to find school mums that like me," laughed the TV personality while candidly updating her 5.7 million Instagram followers. Stacey shares 11-year-old Leighton with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham, after welcoming eldest Zachary, 15, with childhood sweetheart Dean Cox.

She is also mum to Rex, four, Rose, 20 months, and four-month-old Belle - sharing the three youngest with her husband Joe, who she met in 2010 after winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
