Stacey Solomon 'cringes' as she says latest Pickle Cottage update is 'unrelatable'

Stacey Solomon has admitted that she 'cringes' when sharing one aspect of her home.

The TV presenter bought a £1.2million home last year with her EastEnders star fiancé Joe Swash and their children. Since moving in to Pickle Cottage, Stacey has shared updates on how the family have renovated their new home.

They have made multiple changes, including turning an outhouse into a home gym. Recently, they have also had a new mermaid themed bathroom installed and a whole new kitchen.

But, there's one aspect of the home that Stacey feels 'embarrassed' to share. Pickle Cottage came with a swimming pool but with it needing a huge update to make it usable, fans have long awaited for Stacey to share the changes to it.

Posting to her Instagram Stories earlier this week, the mum-of-four shared that the pool is now almost completed and is currently being tiled. But she admitted that posting about it made her 'cringe' as she was 'embarrassed'.

Sharing an image of workmen tiling the pool, she wrote: "Sooo many of you asking to see the tiles... But I know this is the most unrelatable content ever so I'm sorry. I do cringe sharing it... I almost feel embarrassed for some reason."

She added: "But you guys genuinely ask about it every single day so here's the update! Pickle Cottage came with this pool but it needed a safety update and fixing and it's finally coming together. The original people who started on it just left the job in the middle of it so it's taken over a year to get to this point so I do get excited to see it near an end."

The 32-year-old previously ended up in tears while admiring the family's pool with one of her sons. In a video shared on her social media account, they were sat dangling their feet over the edge of the pool

Stacey said: "Me and Leighton are just sitting in the pool, pretending it's filled. I'm literally so excited. I can't believe we're going to have a pool one day."

Her son, Leighton said: "How did this even happen?" Alongside the short clip, Stacey wrote: "Me and Leighton are just sitting in the pool pretending it's filled and Leighton just casually making me cry. I think he's trying to see if he can fill the pool with my tears."
