Stacey Solomon cries as she shares beautiful wedding details amid nerves and 'aisle dilemma'

Stacey Solomon has shared a mini insight into her wedding ahead of the big day this summer. The Loose Women star and fellow TV presenter Joe Swash got engaged in December 2020.

Former EastEnders actor Joe popped the question on Christmas Eve during a family woodland walk. And there was a very special meaning behind her engagement, which she previously explained while showing off her dazzling rock: "Sometimes I take it off just to look inside it. because inside it are two Australian opals. Opal is my birthstone and Australia is where we fell in love."

The couple, who began dating in January 2016 after working together on the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here spin-off, were due to wed last year but their big day was postponed due to the pandemic and Stacey falling pregnant with their daughter, Rose, who was born in October.

However, it is now full steam ahead to the pair saying 'I Do', with Stacey previously revealing they'll tie the knot in the back garden of their Essex home, affectionately called Pickle Cottage, in July.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the mum-of-four gave a glimpse into exactly where she and Joe will become husband and wife and shared a look at what will be the aisle she'll be walking down in just a matter of months.

Filming what will be their breath-taking outdoor wedding venue, which includes a huge canopy of tree braces, leaves and flowers with a walkway leading to a single bench at the end, Stacey shared: "This morning I has to meet with the caterers, florists & everyone in between because I almost forgot we are getting married in three months time.

"We are on the last part now. The aisle. And my sister just put a load of candles in my kitchen jars at the bottom where we are going to stand and I am crying. My whole stomach is turning over. And for some reason I’m so nervous."

But Stacey, 32, then spoke to her fans about her 'aisle dilemma', writing across her video: "Should we just get married half way down the isle? [sic] Because it’s such a long walk.

“Is it too long? I’m scared to walk that far in front of everyone. I think I’ll just end up falling over or laughing at how long it’s taking me to get down the isle [sic]. But I love the end of the arches. Help!” And sharing more footage, Stacey declared: “It’s quite a long walk. It’s quite a way to go! I don’t know if I trust myself!"

Stacey also spoke in the video as she pondered what to do. "I don't know if I trust myself," she laughed. but fans were soon flooding her with messages telling her to 'do it' and to 'milk every second'.

Sharing a bunch of the messages, the former X Factor star said: "I love you lot so much... I'm going to go for it. Dad said he won't let me fall over. And if I feel awkward because it takes so long Joe said he will start telling jokes."

Stacey and Joe got engaged after five years together. The following year, the pair welcomed their second child, Rose, into the world after opening up about suffering heartbreaking miscarriages before conceiving their baby daughter.

The couple have two children together, with their son, Rex, born in May 2019, while Stacey shares her eldest son, 14-year-old Zachary, with her ex-boyfriend Dean Cox and her second son, nine-year-old Leighton, with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham. Joe Swash also has 13-year-old son Harry from a previous relationship.
