Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's wedding day is getting closer, and the stars are hard at work putting the finishing touches on decorations.
The Loose Women panellist and former EastEnders star will tie the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends at their £1.2 million Essex mansion, Pickle Cottage, later this month. Stacey, who recently returned from her hen do in Mykonos, has been putting her DIY skills to good work creating the most perfect wedding decorations.
As the big day looms closer, the pair have been transforming their home into an intimate wedding venue. Keeping fans updated on social media, Stacey has been documenting all the highs and lows that go along with wedding planning.
This also included making provisions for their young guests on their wedding day as Stacey took to Instagram to show off the 'Little Pickle activity pack'. She posted a photo on her Instagram photo, which had bunting displaying 'Little Pickles' and a crate with a sign saying "Please feel free to grab one for your little pickles."
Inside the crate were woven gift bags emblazoned with 'Little Pickle Activity Pack' on it with Stacey also detailing what will be inside. This includes crayons and a booklet, slime, a teddy favour, a keyring and "foodie bits" which will be done closer to the day.
The Sort Your Life star has also been busy making handmade decorations for the big day, including transforming an old mirror into a stunning flower-strewn sign, which read: "Welcome to the wedding of Stacey and Joe. Forever."
The gorgeous grounds of Pickle Cottage will be fully utilised with the couple expected to walk down a lengthy wooden pergola at their nuptials. Stacey also revealed in April that she has created some special confetti as a homage to her baby daughter Rose by collecting blossom from her tree which will be dry out for her to use.
Earlier on Wednesday, Stacey had teased her husband-to-be for leaving their wedding prep until the "hottest week of the year". Sharing a vid of the actor pushing their daughter Rose in a wheelbarrow in the garden, Stacey wrote: "Good morning from my and my very hot husband-to-be, who's left his garden clearing wedding prep to last minute and is now going for it in the hottest week of the year."
