Stacey Giggs has revealed her £80,000 car has now been found just three days after thieves stole it from her driveway.
The 43-year-old is said to have witnessed the thieves drive off in the vehicle at 1.30am on Thursday (August 25) in Worsley, Greater Manchester. The incident happened at her home where she lives with her two children Liberty, 19, and Zach, 15.
The theft was caught on CCTV. She took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to thank fans for their messages of support and said police are involved.
"Thank you so much for all your lovely msgs! Liberty, Zach and myself are doing just fine.
"My cars with the police forensic and we have cctv. But at the end of the day it's just a car! xxx," Stacey wrote.
The mum-of-two also shared snaps from her day at a Salford City match where she was joined by Gary Neville and his wife Emma Hadfield.
The outing comes just days after the car was stolen.
Stacey's children, whom she shares with former Man United player Ryan Giggs, were said to be "inconsolable" after the incident.
A source close to Stacey, who recently split from The Wanted singer Max George, told The Sun that police used the car’s tracker to find it dumped.
They added: "It was so upsetting. Stacey’s kids are hysterical. They’ve been left terrified and inconsolable.
"And it’s unthinkable for this to happen after everything Stacey has been through with Max. She called police straight away.
"They were there all night trying to work out how the robbers accessed the property and her car. Thankfully they found it but the whole incident is terrifying."
At the time, The Mirror contacted a representative for Stacey for comment.
The upsetting ordeal comes after Stacey allegedly called her ex Max a "lying dog" after it emerged he is in a relationship with former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith.
Stacey reportedly told friends seeing The Wanted singer, 33, enjoying a romantic break with Maisie was "is like a dagger to the heart", and branded her ex "a lying dog" who is "obsessed with fame".
The Sun claimed Stacey confided in a pal, saying: "He said he was like an uncle to Maisie. After everything I’ve done for him, I cannot believe he would be so rude and disrespectful. He’s a lying dog. I feel betrayed."
