Stacey Giggs says her £80,000 Range Rover Sport has been returned after it was stolen by a masked gang. The ex-wife of Ryan Giggs saw the criminals drive off in the vehicle in the early hours in Worsley, according to reports.
Stacey was at home with her two children, Liberty, 19, and Zach, 15, when the gang struck. The incident was reportedly captured on CCTV.
But The Mirror reports that Stacey has now revealed it was recovered three days after it was taken at 1.30am on Thursday. She took to her Instagram to thank fans for their messages of support and said police are involved.
She posted: "Thank you so much for all your lovely msgs! Liberty, Zach and myself are doing just fine. My cars(sic) with the police forensic and we have cctv. But at the end of the day it's just a car! xxx."
Earlier, in the aftermath of the theft, a source told The Sun: "It was so upsetting. Stacey's kids are hysterical. They have been left terrified. She called the police straight away. They were there all night trying to work out how the robbers accessed the property and her car."
Stacey also shared snaps from her day at a Salford City match where she was joined by Gary Neville and his wife Emma Hadfield. Stacey's children were said to be "inconsolable" after the incident.
A source close to Stacey, who recently split from The Wanted singer Max George, told The Sun that police used the car’s tracker to find it dumped.
