Stacey Dooley has recounted the moment she excitedly told boyfriend Kevin Clifton that she was pregnant with her child as she looks back at her past year.
The 35-year-old investigative journalist has been in a romance with ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin, 40, since 2019.
The couple announced to the world in August 2022 year that they are expecting their first child together.
On New Years’ Eve, Stacey was in a reflective mood and took to social media to relive moments form the previous 12 months - with her pregnancy discovery making the biggest splash for her.
Uploading a photo of herself on a video call with Kevin, Stacey revealed it was a screenshot of the moment she broke her pregnancy news to the dancer.
And what’s more, it seemed she decided to find out fi she was pregnant while out shopping at luxury department store, Selfridges.
Sharing the moment via Instagram Stories, Stacey explained: “Happppppy new year kidsssss!
"Wishing you all only great moments ahead."
She continued: "2022, the year I found out we were havin' a baby.
“I did a pregnancy test in Selfridges toilet and facetimed Kev in the back of a black cab.
"(He was filming for a gig and had a radio mic on, so it was all v chaotic) .”
She added: “2023, we coming!"
Back in August, Stacey broke her happy news to fans and followers via social media.
She explained in a video at the time: "Gaaaaaaang.....We are having a baby!" the documentary-maker excitedly told fans.
"So b***dy delighted," she went on.
Turning her attention to boyfriend Kevin, who she met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, Stacey gushed: "Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu."
The TV star then joked that being pregnant had become 'impossible to hide.'
"If one more person asks me if I've had my t**s done in LA I'm gonna scream," she laughed.
While in September, Stacey revealed she had been secretly pregnant while filming the Masked Dancer over the summer - when she competed while dressed as a giant prawn.
She revealed online: "A dancing, preggo prawn.
"You're WELCOME [prawn emoji] The choreographers were such sweethearts, and the entire crew BTS. Ta so much.
"So fun! (Also, so sorry to my gorgeous runner, I just know my dressing room must've stunk of 1st trimester sickness [laughing emoji])"
