Stacey Dooley has given birth to her first child. The documentary maker announced back in August that she and her boyfriend, former Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton, were expecting.
The couple met back in 2018 on the BBC dance contest as Stacey was paired with professional dancer Kevin. The TV personality went on to win the 16th series and also fell in love with her pro partner - with the pair confirming their romance months after the show ended.
And now the pair have become first-time parents to a baby girl, announcing the news on Instagram on Tuesday (January 17) and revealing the newborn's cute name.
While the pair couple are yet to share a picture of their firstborn daughter, they did share a sweet snap to confirm her safe arrival. Posting a picture of an envelope which read 'Minnie's parents' on Instagram, new mum Stacey wrote: "Our Daughter is here. My little masterpiece!"
She then added: "I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev." Kevin also echoed his partner's post, writing alongside the same image: "Our daughter is here," alongside a string of read heart emojis. "The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. So proud of u @sjdooley Love u Minnie , Love u Stace x," he added.
And the congratulatory messages came flooding in. Strictly It Takes Two host Janette Manrara cheered: "CONGRATULATIONS!!!" Kevin's former dancer partner Susan Calman replied: "The most amazing thing. So happy for you both. Congratulations partner." Blue singer Antony Costa wrote: "Congratulations."
This Morning host Dermot O'Leary shared: "Huge congrats." Former Bake Off winner Candice Brown said: "Yayyyyyyyy so many congratulations." Ex-The Only Way is Essex star Jessica Wright also added: "Aww congratulations lovely."
Stacey announced she was pregnant alongside a gorgeous snap of herself debuting her then-blossoming baby bump. She wrote at the time: "Gaaaaaaang... We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu."
She then added: "(Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my tits done in LA I'm gonna scream). Here goessssssss." Kevin also shared the same picture at the same time and sweetly wrote: "We're having a baby! And I think my girl @staceydooley looks beautiful pregnant."
