Live Irish music and dancing will be adding to the party mood at Newcastle Racecourse this weekend at its special event to mark St Patrick's Day makes a return.
The popular Guinness St Patrick 's Raceday will be back in the city on Saturday and will include plenty Irish entertainment alongside the sporting action of both racing and rugby.
At the Guinness-sponsored day at Gosforth Park, where guests will be able to view the Guinness Six Nations match alongside the horse racing, a new option for 2022 will be an Irish stew lunch package.

The raceday, which takes place two days after St Patrick's Day on March 17, will feature plenty family attractions too.
As well as a live Irish band, there will be performances of dancing at the racecourse throughout the day by members of the Kelly Hendry School Of Irish Dance in Blaydon as well as a face painter to keep the children entertained - and those aged 17 and under also get free raceday entry.
There are various ticket options including the new Paddy's Day in the Park Suite package which offers a relaxing experience with a " hearty Irish stew lunch"; race card; seating both in the suite and on a private terrace overlooking the winning post as well as access to a private bar and Tote betting facility.
This costs £60 while other options available in advance include grandstand tickets for £23 and premier ones for £28. There is als a Raceday Restaurant ticket, including a private table and three-course menu prepared by the chef, for £123.
