The popular St Patrick's Day Parade is returning to Liverpool after a three year hiatus in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
St Patrick's Day is every March 17 and is a cultural and religious celebration, held on this date as it's believed to be the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.
In Liverpool, it's often a huge affair with bars, clubs and pubs celebrating in style while those keen to get out on the town don green and drink the day away.

It's no secret that the coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the hospitality industry, and has in some instances led to the permanent closure of independent shops, businesses, restaurants and more. A number of events have been cancelled in the fallout of the pandemic, with Liverpool's annual St Patrick's Day Parade no different.
But it's making its much anticipated return this year.
The parade really started to gather traction in 2015, when Declan Doolin, then just 18, took over and helped turn it into the annual celebration that's so well known and popular to this day.
Speaking to the ECHO, Declan, now 24, said: "I have run the parade since I was 18 back in 2015.
"Liverpool previously never had a big celebration in the city on March 17 - once we took over organising one in 2015, the city has had huge parades over the last few years.
"Covid, however, has caused problems in terms of funding and also in terms of getting bands to participate. Many bands still won't play on parades as they feel it is still unsafe. However, we will still have three bands on the parade and it will take place on Thursday, March 17 moving off at 3pm from the Old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant."
Liverpool Irish Flute Band, Liverpool Pipe Band and Cambria Drum Band will be performing in the parade on March 17.
