Tottenham were keen on a permanent deal for the former Everton youth product —who had a spell on loan at Port Vale earlier in the season — but the English Saints wanted to keep him on their books, preferring to see the England Under-18 international make a temporary move to pick up more experience before returning to St Mary’s.
Boss Stephen Robinson said: "Thierry is a young player with lots of pace and lots of energy.
"He gives us another option on that left-hand side at left wing-back. Scott Tanser has played a lot of games with no competition in that area and if he got injured or we needed to change it for any reason we had no option, so it was important we brought someone in.
"He’ll bring us pace, energy, strength and good quality on the ball. We are looking forward to having him in and he’ll certainly add to the squad."
