St Mirren have signed Shrewsbury midfielder Roland Idowu on loan.
The Irish 22-year-old has agreed a season-long loan switch to Paisley.
Idowu - who played 10 times for Shrewsbury last term - can play throughout the midfield or in an advanced role behind the strikers.
He becomes Stephen Robinson's fourth signing of the summer with Ellery Balcombe, Oisin Smyth and Shaun Rooney already finding their feet in Paisley.
Jaden Brown - who spent last season on loan at St Mirren - is expected to complete a permanent move to return to the club in the coming days.
On completing his switch to Scotland, Idowu said: "I'm delighted to be here.
"I've heard a lot about the club and spoke to the manager and Diarmuid O'Carroll. I'm really happy and excited for what the club is pushing for this season.
"I know Richard Taylor. We played together before and he told me it was a good club. I've seen what the club achieved last season and how they are pushing to go further. I just want to come in and help out.
"I'm excited to get out in front of the fans and get playing again. I'm a creative player who gives a lot physically, I like to get about the place with goals and assists. Speaking with the manager, he has given me the confidence that I can come in and do that."
Manager Robinson commented: "Roland is someone we feel that is highly talented.
"He can play as an eight, he can play anywhere in the midfield and he can play a little bit further forward in behind the strikers.
"He's different from what we have and someone I've kept an eye on from afar so we're delighted to have him on board."
A Shrewsbury statement confirmed: "Shrewsbury Town can confirm Roland Idowu has joined Scottish Premiership outfit St Mirren on a season-long loan.
"The attacking midfielder joined Salop from Waterford in December and made 10 appearances for the club last season.
"He will now spend the next year gaining first-team experience up in Scotland after agreeing a temporary switch to St Mirren.
"Everyone at Shrewsbury Town wishes Roland the best of luck for the campaign ahead."
