St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson is a top target to replace Nathan Jones at Luton Town.
The Buddies boss finished his playing career at the Hatters, who are now looking for a new manager after Jones joined Southampton this morning.
After an impressive start to his tenure in Paisley, Robinson is understood to be among three contenders on the English Championship club's wish list.
The PA news agency reports that Robinson, Neil Critchley and Mark Bonner are all under consideration.
Robinson spent six years at Kenilworth Road, making 211 appearances, and helped them to promotion to the Championship in 2005.
Luton were previously interested in the former Northern Ireland international when they re-appointed Jones in 2020.
The St Mirren manager also found himself one of the bookies' favourites to replace Ian Baraclough as Northern Ireland boss, with that vacancy still yet to be filled.
