St Johnstone striker Nicky Clark is free to play at Motherwell tonight after winning an appeal against his recent red card.
The Perth forward was ordered off by referee Willie Collum in the first half of Saturday's defeat to Rangers at Ibrox for a challenge on Ryan Jack.
Saints manager Callum Davidson was adamant the punishment of red was harsh and questioned why the VAR pitch-side monitor was not brought into play.
Following a review of the decision, the SFA has now confirmed that the red has been downgraded to a yellow.
Clark, alongside new signing Zak Rudden, will be in the squad for tonight’s crunch Premiership trip to Fir Park.
