ST JOHNSTONE are set to land Crystal Palace goalkeeper Remi Matthews on loan ahead of the Scottish Premiership season getting underway on Saturday.
Saints have been on the lookout for a new No1 following Zander Clark's exit this summer.
Matthews will now fill that void and will likely start against Hibernian at McDiarmid Park on Saturday.
The 28-year-old is yet to feature in a competitive game for Palace but has enjoyed spells at Sunderland and Bolton.
Matthews also spent time on loan at at Hamilton back in 2016/17 when his parent club was Norwich City.
