St John Ogilvie pupils celebrate in style at spectacular prom event

Departing S6 pupils from St John Ogilvie High School celebrated the end of their secondary years with a glamarous school prom event.

Last sessions sixth year students dressed to the nines for an evening of fun and entertainment at the Dalziel Park hotel in Motherwell.

Over 100 pupils and 56 members of staff enjoyed a beautiful meal and celebrated all of the achievements of a wonderful group of S6 pupils as they now move onto the next chapter in their young lives.

For many this includes university or college, full time job positions, training or travelling.

St John Ogilvie High School head teacher Lorna Lawson told Lanarkshire Live : "Everyone at St John Ogilvie wishes the outgoing pupils every success as they move on from school life.

"Special thanks go to the school leadership team for organising the prom 2022, the staff of the hotel and to Mr Ferguson our resident school DJ for a great night on the dancefloor."
