Newcastle United fans sitting in the Leazes End of St James' Park are being urged to give those in the Gallowgate 'some competition' when it comes to flag displays - starting with tonight against Everton.
Fan group Wor Flags has been working across the weekend to ensure a mass display will go ahead before tonight's game - including several dozen flags loaned to the Leazes End.
Those in the Leazes will be able to recreate the 'flag mess' which has been seen in the Gallowgate in recent games - several smaller flags being waved, while the big surfer flag will be used to cover those in the Gallowgate.

A spokesman for Wor Flags told Chronicle Live there's excitement ahead of tonight's clash: "We've always wanted to develop displays that involve more of the ground.
"For us, it's just about getting more people involved in displays and hopefully using that to build the atmosphere in the ground before kick-off.
"We've had a really great response already from people with tickets in the Leazes, so we're looking forward to seeing them give the Gallowgate some competition.
"Aside from that, as ever the displays are always just about getting behind the team. Of course tonight that's also about showing the new players the incredible support they'll be playing for."
Wor Flags returned to St James' Park following Mike Ashley's exit in October and have been putting on some fantastic displays ever since - including the 'Big River' banner which was flown before the game against Tottenham.
Those sitting in the Leazes End are being urged not to take any flags home with them as they'll be needed for future displays.
