Sam Fender cemented his place in history when he performed two 'outstanding' gigs at St James' Park.
The 29-year-old from North Shields is the first Geordie musician to headline the stadium and delighted 100,000 fans with two special shows on June 9 and 10.
Newcastle United hailed the gigs as "outstanding" and said that Fender had "put on a show to remember" as they took to Twitter to share stunning photographs of the packed-out stadium.

And now Chronicle Live understands that Fender's performance is expected to pave the way for future gigs to be held at St James' Park. The stadium, known to Newcastle fans as 'the cathedral on the hill,' has played host to performances by major stars including Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, and Ed Sheeran in years gone by.
While there are no concrete plans for upcoming shows at the moment, bosses at St James' Park are understood to be keen to see the venue used by other artists in the future. However, the club is restricted by the short window of time to host such performances during the off-season.
Meanwhile, the city is set to reap the benefits of Fender's performances for a long time to come, with chiefs at NE1 Ltd business improvement district company reporting that the events generated a boost of at least £15m for the North East economy.
The homecoming concerts, combined with the annual Blaydon Race on Friday, June 9, produced an electric atmosphere in the city, and the NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) has also expressed how it is keen to see future gigs at St James' Park.
Ahead of the shows, Ian Thomas, destination director at NGI, said: "It is going to be a very memorable weekend and once again demonstrates our ability to host major events shining a spotlight on the city and region.”
