St George Illawarra NRLW player Madison Bartlett to face judiciary on biting charge

St George Illawarra NRLW winger Madison Bartlett has been referred straight to the judiciary after being charged with biting.

Bartlett is alleged to have bitten Parramatta five-eighth Sereana Naitokatoka during the second half of the Dragons' 10-0 win over the Eels in Sunday's round-two match in Wollongong.

She was not offered the option of entering an early guilty plea, with the NRLW match review committee deciding the incident would be heard at Tuesday night's judiciary hearing.

Naitokatoka was charged with a grapple tackle on Bartlett but avoided a potential suspension after being issued a warning.

Bartlett's Dragons teammate Kody House was cited for an alleged shoulder charge from the same match.

House can accept a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea, but she faces a two-match ban if she unsuccessfully challenges the charge at the judiciary.
