Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin launches 16-course ‘Winter Journey’

Michelin-starred restaurant Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok welcomes the winter season of cool breezes with the new ‘Winter Journey’ until March 31, 2023. Continuing its legendary modern-Thai gastronomy, Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin remains consistent with dishes created by chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and senior head chef Chayawee Suthcharitchan.

Portraying the ‘winter season’, chefs Henrik and Chayawee join forces to develop menus using the finest winter-time ingredients in each dish. The menu has 16 courses, beginning with the restaurant's famous eight ‘snack and street food’ canapés, inspired by chef Henrik’s travels. The signature ‘Tom Yum Kung’ with fun crafted DIY instant tofu noodles made using a syringe remains on the menu followed by the ‘Spicy Hokkaido scallop salad with pomelo’.

A reinvented dish is the ‘green curry snow fish cake’, a popular national dish of ‘green curry’ cooked with silky snow fish, made in the form of a cake with green curry lava inside. Indulge in classic European desserts and a touch of Thai to celebrate the meal. ‘Lemongrass coconut ice-cream and lime meringue’ is as beautiful as an iceberg. The ‘pistachio soufflé’, a signature French dessert has a hint of refreshing Thai pandan ice cream.

The ‘Winter Journey’ offers 8 courses at B2,150++ and 10 course at B3,200++ for lunch. Dinner is a 16-course menu at B3,900++. Line: @SiamKempinskiHotel or visit srabuabykiinkiin.com.
