Over at secretive London asset manager Squarepoint, an internal brouhaha has emerged over workplace screens.
How many monitors do you need to do your job? Management has instructed staff in the investment team that under new rules, three is the magic number.
That has irked old-timers on the team who were perfectly happy with their two-screen setup (what dinosaurs!). They fear the new monitors won't be as high-definition, leading to an overall loss of pixels.
But they’ve been told they need to get the picture, or else. Word is this comes right from the top -- the CEO has strong views on screens.
