Helen Skelton is due to return to our screens this evening as part of the wholesome Channel 5 programme Springtime on the Farm.
Broadcasting live from Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, the 39-year-old and co-star Jules Hudson will be celebrating the very best of British farming and introducing viewers to some adorable new arrivals. Tonight's episode, which will air at 8pm, will feature a community of Benedictine monks from the Isle of Wight who have farmed on the island for centuries.
Helen has been involved in numerous TV shows over the past few months since her split from husband Richie Myler. The couple, who tied the knot in 2013, announced the end of their marriage on April 25 last year.

The mum-of-three took to Instagram at the time to share the sad news. She told followers: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children," along with two 'heartbroken' emojis.

Leeds Rhinos star Richie and Helen share three children. Shortly after their breakup, the 32-year-old said he was now dating Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of club president Andrew Thirkill.
Last week, Stephanie gave birth to their first child together. Below we take a close look at Helen's impressive career and what she has been up to since the split.
Strictly Come Dancing
Helen took part in the latest series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing where she narrowly missed out on winning the show with dance partner Gorka Márquez. Helen absolutely loved her time on Strictly and took to Instagram to pay tribute to her co-stars, fans and crew.
Speaking about losing the glitterball trophy to wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin and partner Jowita Przystal, Helen told Ranvir Singh on Lorraine: "When Claudia [Winkleman] asked me what it would mean to win the show, and I wasn’t able to articulate what I wanted to say, but ultimately it would have been the perfect way to say thank you for all the support and the messages that I’ve had.
“All I was able to say was we’ve had this atmosphere, I’ll take it! And if I could bottle that atmosphere from Saturday night and the applause and the way everyone was going crazy, that will see me through any dark day because it was just the most wonderful feeling and it just goes to show what happens when you surround yourself with good people.”
Romance rumours
In March this year rumours began circulating that Helen had gotten close to dancer Vito Coppola during the Strictly live tour. However, she quickly shut those down during her BBC Radio 5 Live Sunday show after being teased by her co stars.
While chatting to guests including Nick Knowles and James Cracknell she briefly mentioned the elephant in the room that she knew was on everyone's minds. Newsreader Steve brought up the topic and teased Helen live on air.
He said: "Just looking at the papers. Er, the front page of the Mirror is interesting." Helen could be heard bursting into an awkward laughter and asked Steve to: "Put the papers down, thank you."
Move back home
Following the end of her marriage, Helen and her children moved back to Cumbria to be close to her parents. Helen, a lover of the outdoors and animals, previously said she was enjoying life on her parents' farm.
She told the Telegraph at the time: “I am literally in my childhood Cumbrian village with all my school friends, and so everyone just kind of mucks in together."
Net worth
According to celebritynetworth.com, Helen has a net worth of around £4.8 million. This follows an impressive career in journalism and presenting major shows as well as sporting events.
What Helen has said about the split
Helen has not said much on her marriage breakup since making the announcement in April last year. She has however given some indication about how she was feeling during various TV appearances and interviews.
During her first TV series after the marriage breakup, she told Summer on the Farm viewers: "Life throws things at you that you don't want to have to deal with. Sometimes you find yourself in a storm you don't really want to be in and if you can find a way to muddle through, you'll come out the other side. And the sun will always come out in the end."
She also opened up about mum guilt and thanked fans for the hundreds of messages she received in support. In an interview with Grazia this month, Helen said she her "life was no different to millions of other people's lives".
She said: "Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out. I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as it comes along. There's no point overthinking stuff, you just get on with it."
The first episode of new Springtime on the Farm airs tonight, April 11, at 8pm on Channel 5.
