Springholm Nursery held a coffee morning and table top sale on Sunday to raise some funds.
There were some amazing donations from friends, families and residents of Springholm.
Alex at Cake by the Road donated a £40 voucher to put towards the purchase of her cakes to be raffled, with parents from the nursery committee baking and serving coffee, tea and juice to everyone who turned out despite the terrible weather.
The tombola was a huge success as usual as it proved too hard to resist.
Memorial Hall committee members went along on the day to help out on stalls and to chat to Springholm residents, encouraging people to share ideas about future events to be organised for the village.
The remaining donations were taken to the DEBRA UK charity shop in Castle Douglas.
