After placing second in the NASCAR Truck Series’ final standings last season, driver Corey Heim continues to entertain his followers.
One special fan, 5-year-old Mikey Southern, received extra attention, receiving a package from TRICON Garage and a video message from Heim.
A brain cancer survivor and fan of the movie “Cars” and the red race car, Speedy McQueen, Southern was drawn to the look of Heim’s No. 11 Toyota.
Heim, who captured a career-best six races last season, heard of the super fan and reached out to support Southern’s battle. The package included a small fire suit and a signed picture of Heim’s machine.
“What’s up Mikey?” Heim recorded. “This is Corey. You are stronger and braver than anyone I know. From everyone at TRICON, we are cheering you on every step of the way.”
With Southern’s support, Heim enters the campaign as the favorite to capture the series title, drawing +220 odds from BetOnline Sportsbook. Defending champion Ty Majeski was listed second at +275.
Below, we’ll preview the top storylines heading into the 2025 season and go over the early driver odds for capturing the championship.
