With great power comes extended scenes.
And “Spider-Man: No Way Home” — the third chapter in the Tom Holland-leading “Spider-Man” films — is making its way back into theaters for Labor Day Weekend.
“You wanted more Spidey and you got it!” the official film account tweeted Saturday. “#SpiderManNoWayHome: The More Fun Stuff Version swings into movie theaters in the US and Canada September 2! More countries to be announced soon!”
The tweet also included a video featuring Holland, 26, as well as his two Spidey predecessors, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield — both of whom reprise their roles in the film.
“I’m Spider-Man,” each of three say, with a snap at the end showing them all pointing at one another, asking, “Who’s going?”
The picture is a reference to a meme in which two people dressed as Spider-Man point at one another.
When it hit theaters in mid-December, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” earned $50 million in its Thursday previews alone. By the end of the month, the film became the first of the pandemic to earn $1 billion.
The film now holds the title as the third-highest-grossing film in domestic film history.
