Spice Girls share adorable throwbacks and tributes for Geri Horner's birthday

The Spice Girls have posted some cute throwbacks and tribute messages to celebrate Geri Horner's 48th birthday.

Geri has been one-fifth of the world's biggest-selling girl band of all-time after they joined in their heyday in the 1990s.

The girls recently reunited without Victoria Beckham last year for a series of reunion concerts.

However, today was all about Geri as she turned the big 4-8 and the other girls were quick to show the love.

Despite turning down the chance to reunite with the girls last year, Victoria did post her a sweet but simple birthday message on Instagram.

Posh Spice wrote on her Instagram Stories: "Happy birthday @therealgerihalliwell x".

Meanwhile, Baby Spice herself Emma Bunton took to her Instagram profile to share some cute throwback snaps of the pair.

Emma shared a collage and series of images of the pair from throughout their friendship, including a shot of Emma and Geri in the cult film Spice World and a more recent selfie of the two of them.

The former Heart Radio presenter captioned the images: "Happy birthday @therealgerihalliwell.

"Love you so much sis. Sending you kisses and cuddles birthday girl. xxx".

Finally, Sporty Spice aka Melanie Chisholm ( Mel C ) also posted a cute throwback pic of her and Geri.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Mel posted a single image of her and Ginger Spice from the height of their fame with the simple message: "Happy Birthday Geri! xxx".

However, Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown ( Mel B ) has not yet shared any public message to congratulate the star on her birthday, but we are sure she let her know in private!

Geri herself has been enjoying her time in lockdown with her husband Christian Horner and their two children: Bluebell, 14, and Monty, three.

The family reside in a large home in Hertfordshire where they have stayed since the coronavirus pandemic began.
