The SPFL Trust Trophy first round clashes kick off on Tuesday with Rangers and Celtic B stepping up this week.
Alongside the Old Firm B sides, another nine Premiership colt teams will battle it out in the regionalised first round of the cup, with the top four from last season's Highland and Lowland Leagues as well as the teams finishing eighth, ninth and 10th in last term's Scottish League Two in action on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Celtic B make the trip to Albion Rovers on Tuesday evening. The Scottish League Two side finished in eighth place last season after a disappointing end to the campaign. Rangers Colts face Lowland League side The Spartans on Wednesday night. The Edinburgh based club have already faced the Light Blues B side in the league this season, with Rangers securing a 3-0 home victory last week. But as we all know, Cup clashes can be a completely different ball game.
Raith Rovers lifted the trophy last season, defeating Queen of the South 3-1 in the final at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium.
