SPFL Trust Trophy: Clubs learn quarter-final ties with Lanarkshire derby clash drawn

Hamilton Accies and Clyde will face each other in the quarter-finals of the SPFL Trust Trophy - in what will be a home tie for both sides.

Jim Duffy's Bully Wee are currently ground sharing at Hamilton's New Douglas Park and the teams will now battle it out next month for a place in the last four, meaning a Lanarkshire side is guaranteed to reach the semi-finals.

The ties for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the competition were determined today, with the draw serving up an exciting landlords versus tenants tie.

And whoever progresses between Accies and Clyde will then have a home match against the winners of the all-League One clash between Queen of the South and Kelty Hearts.

Accies dispatched a young Inverness Caledonian Thistle side 2-0 in Saturday's last 16 tie, while Clyde needed penalties to see off League Two Elgin City at the weekend after a 0-0 draw.

The quarter-final ties will be played in the midweek of January 10/11, while the semi-finals will be held on February 4/5 or 7/8.

The draw in full is as follows:

Dundee v Dunfermline

Hamilton Accies v Clyde

Queen of the South v Kelty Hearts

Queen's Park v Raith Rovers

Semi-final draw:

Hamilton Accies/Clyde v Queen of the South/Kelty Hearts

Dundee/Dunfermline v Queen's Park/Kelty Hearts
